About Thash Bio Academy

Thash Bio Academy was founded by Mr. Thashvin on August 30, 2012, while he was still in his final year of secondary school.

Initially, classes were conducted in person with limited resources. In 2013, an attempt was made to digitize the classes, but online learning was not widely embraced at that time. In

mid-2013, tragedy struck when Mr. Thashvin was involved in a life-threatening accident that left his right arm paralyzed.

During his recovery in 2014, Mr. Thashvin conducted biology, chemistry and physics classes for SPM students in small groups at his home. In 2015, alongside pursuing his own education, he taught multiple subjects at other tuition centers. However, in 2017, he received a scholarship to further his studies in psychology (neuro) at the University of Otago, New Zealand.

This led to a temporary pause in his classes in Malaysia.

While in New Zealand, Mr. Thashvin continued to teach biology to school students there and served as a teaching assistant for psychology papers at his university. Upon returning to Malaysia, he resumed teaching SPM students, but this time through online platforms as online education became more familiar. post-pandemic. Initially focusing on biology, he incorporated his knowledge of psychology to enhance the learning experience for his students. It was a successful move which turned out to be extremely beneficial for his students. 

In February 2023, Thash Bio Academy expanded to an office space, allowing for an increase in management capacity. Experienced teachers for various subjects were brought on board later and underwent training with Mr. Thashvin to incorporate psychology into their teaching methods. The goal of Thash Bio Academy is to transform the Malaysian education landscape by producing students who can achieve A grades in all their SPM subjects through the integration of psychology into their learning experience.
